What the API (api.wsystem.dev) processes

• Query data you send (VAT/EORI numbers, company names, names to screen). Validation results for VAT numbers are cached to reduce load on official services.
• Client IP address, to count the free tier (calls per IP per day). The counter is kept for operating the quota.
• API keys (paid plans): stored only as a one-way hash with plan, monthly usage and the email address used at checkout.
• Payments: card payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as an independent controller; x402 payments are on-chain (Base) and public by nature.

Queries are forwarded to the official sources needed to answer them (for example the European Commission VIES and EOS services, national business registers, GLEIF). We do not sell personal data.

Legal basis and your rights

Processing is necessary to provide the service you request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and for our legitimate interest in preventing abuse (Art. 6(1)(f)). You may request access, rectification or erasure, and complain to the Hungarian authority NAIH (naih.hu).
