About W System
Short answer: W System is a small, independent EU software company that builds one API for the checks and documents B2B invoicing needs: VAT and EORI validation, company registers, sanctions screening, KYB and EN 16931 e-invoices (validate, create, Peppol lookup). It is built and run by its founder, Zifeng Wei.
Who you are dealing with
- Founder and developer: Zifeng Wei. When you email [email protected], the person who wrote the code answers.
- Company: an EU-registered limited company; legal name, registered seat, registration number and VAT number are on the imprint.
- Independent: not affiliated with the European Commission or any tax authority. We use official public sources (VIES, EOS, national registers, official sanctions lists); see data sources and licences.
Why this exists
Every EU country is moving B2B invoicing to structured e-invoices (Belgium since January 2026, Poland, France and Germany next). Software teams now need three things before an invoice goes out: is the buyer real and VAT-registered, is the invoice valid against EN 16931 and the national rules, and where on Peppol does it go. Free tools answer one of these at a time. W System answers them in one API with one key, and every answer is plain JSON you can keep as evidence.
Where we are today (honestly)
- Live: VAT (VIES, 27 EU states + Northern Ireland), EORI (EC EOS), company registers, sanctions screening (EU, UN, OFAC SDN, UK), KYB, EN 16931 / XRechnung / ZUGFeRD / Peppol BIS validation and creation, Peppol participant lookup (Directory + SML/SMP), MCP server, x402.
- Sandbox only: Peppol sending. Live sending through a certified access-point partner is being set up.
- Not yet: UK (GB) VAT checks (HMRC live access pending).
- New: we launched in October 2026. We don't have customer case studies to show yet; if you become one of the first customers, you get the founder's direct attention.
